2023 Roundup

This marked the year of my 4th Solo Exhibition, scheduled for March, at The Phoenicia Hotel in Floriana.

January

I began by printing the selected images at 8 x 6. Next, I finalized the set of 14 images for display and determined the order in which they will be hung.

I'm thrilled to share that two of the images that I submitted for the Monoawards competition, received an Honourable Mention!

I'm excited to share that two of my images, along with an interview, were published in Docu Magazine Vol. 7.

I've sent the final set of 14 images that will be featured in my Solo Exhibition to Photoimages for printing. Excitement is building!

I've finalized the leaflet for my Solo Exhibition, titled 'Order in Chaos.'

Photoimages provided a sample image complete with the frame as proof, and it looked fantastic. I've given them the go-ahead to proceed with the rest of the photos.

I was featured on the Instagram “_the_unknown_gallery_”.

The filming for my Solo Exhibition was expertly conducted by Keith Mizzi.

The printing and framing for the Solo Exhibition are complete – everything is ready!

The 'Order in Chaos' Solo Exhibition was manned at The Phoenicia Hotel.

March

The official opening of the 'Order in Chaos' Solo Exhibition took place on March 3rd.

I had the opportunity to be interviewed and featured on both PBS, the national television network, and NET, the company I work with.

Throughout the exhibition, my close friend Charles Calleja, a tutor at the MCAST school, paid a visit along with his students.

The exhibition was attended by MPS members and Exco, and I was genuinely pleased with the turnout.

Keith Mizzi sent me the finalized video of my 'Order in Chaos' Solo Exhibition, and it was truly amazing. His wife, Vanessa Mizzi, did an exceptional job editing, and I am genuinely proud and grateful to both Keith and Vanessa.

My 'Order in Chaos' Solo Exhibition garnered attention from various Maltese media platforms, including TV, newspapers, and online sources.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a trophy for my 13 years of dedicated service to Gladiators Promotions. It was truly an unexpected honor.

April

I authored a write-up titled 'Man & Dog Series,' which I contributed to Progressive Street. It has been published on my dedicated page on their website.

I was pleasantly surprised and overjoyed to receive an email from reFocus Awards, notifying me that one of my images had earned an Honourable Mention.

September

I participated in the 'Breaking Stereotypes in Professions' Exhibition, a collective event organized by MPS and MFPA.

I finally arrived in Valencia to fulfill one of my dreams—a Street Photography holiday. I dedicated most of my time to exploring the City of Arts and Sciences, capturing moments from every angle and at various times of the day.

While in Valencia, I received a delightful call from my wife, informing me that I had been awarded an Honourable Mention certificate from the 'Black & White Spider Awards' for a photo I submitted in the Fine Art category.

October

I had the honor of judging the MPS Digital Monochrome National Competition. Gratitude to the Exco and the sub-committee for their efforts. A big well-done to all the participants.

November

My time in Venice was another dream holiday for my Fine Art Street Photography, and this time, I had the pleasure of being accompanied by my wife, Therese Agius.

December

All in all, it was a very good experience, and I was delighted to see several of my submitted images on 1x.com being published and receiving awards.
